In 1985,
TRADEMCO Consulting - Research and Development Ltd was created from V.
Evmolpidis, Civil Engineer - Transportation Planner and G. Emmanoulopoulos,
Surveying Engineer - Transportation Planner. The purpose of the company is to
carry out Studies and to offer Consulting Services to Clients of Public and
Private sector in Greece and abroad.
- In 2000, the company absorbed the sister consulting company TRADEMCO - V.
Evmolpidis - G. Emmanoulopoulos and Co., which included as partners K. Georgiou
and P. Pikrodimitris, Civil Engineers - Transportation Planners.
- In 2001, TRADEMCO Ltd merged with SGI Hellas S.A. daughter company in Greece of
SGI Consulting Group of companies. Till March 2005 the new company operated
under the name SGI- TRADEMCO Consulting - Research - Development S.A.
- In March 2005, as a result of a management buy out (MBO) the 71% share of SGI
Consulting in the capital of SGI-TRADEMCO was bought by 7 managers. As a results
of this MBO the name of the company was modified to TRADEMCO - Consulting -
Research - Development S.A. In addition to V. Evmolpidis and G. Emmanoulopoulos
who maintain the main partner share (74%) the new partners includes: K.
Georgiou, P. Pikrodimitris, O. Varveri, D. Iordanis, P. Christopoulos and Ch.
Kougias.
TRADEMCO is a leading company in the Greek market of Consulting Engineers and among
the few Greek firms activated internationally. TRADEMCO is specializing in the
conduct of studies and provision of Consulting Services in the domains of
transport, environment, engineering, projects, institutional and business
restructuring, development and intelligent transport systems.
TRADEMCO applies a Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2000. The
vision of TRADEMCO is the absolute satisfaction of its customers to the excess
of their expectations through the provision of reliable, efficient and value
adding services of high quality, in conformity with national and international
standards, while ensuring sustainable development, satisfaction of its
colleagues and accomplishment of company's goals.
TRADEMCO employs about 40 persons, has a capital share of 1 million € and
during the last 5 years (2003-2007) had an average turnover of 3 million €.
